Außer der Version des Standard Filters hat BMC eine weitere Möglichkeit des Filters entwickelt.
Es handelt sich hierbei um den “Race” Filter, d.h. ein Filter der von der Form gleichbleibend ist wie der Standard Filter, aber von dem Filtermaterial so aufgebaut wurde, dass ein erhöhter Luftdurchlass gegenüber anderen Filtersystemen gegeben ist, aber natürlich die Filterwirkung trotzdem beibehält.
Der BMC “Race” Filter wurde für diejenigen konzipiert, die sich nicht mit der normalen Leistung des Motorrades zufrieden geben, sondern den Motor und das Steuergerät modifizieren, um danach eine Mehrleistung zu erzielen. Den “Race” Filter erkennt man an einem gelben Streifen.
In addition to the standard filter version, BMC has developed another option for the filter.

The BMC "Race" filter was designed for those who are not satisfied with the normal performance of the motorcycle, but modify the engine and the control unit, in order to achieve an additional performance. The "Race" filter can be recognized by a yellow stripe.
